In the small rural town of Geneseo in upstate New York far away from the big city bustle and politics, dog breeder Brittany Callan found a tiny newborn kitten at her husbands worksite and decided to bring it home to their farm. One of her 14 Dobermans was nursing a litter of puppies, and she thought her dog might accept the kitten nursing.

Not only did the dog named Ruby allow the little kitten named Ramblin Rose to nurse, but the proud Mom routinely licked the kitten clean and often carries it in her mouth around the house.

The litter of puppies, now bigger than the kitten, has welcomed Ramblin Rose as one of their own siblings- snuggling as they sleep and nurse. One big happy family!

We will check back later to see if Ramblin Rose has learned how to bark!
