The age at which dogs eat the most is when they're still puppies. This part of a dog's life is when the growth rate is at its peak. Two meals a day won't cut it. Feed your pet in the morning, noon, afternoon, and evening. Or, if you're mostly at home, you can give your animal food whenever it asks for some.

Consider also that a puppy's digestive organs aren't as big as their adult counterparts. It means processing all the food it eats will take a shorter time, which translates to more frequent bathroom "breaks." You can train your puppy to go potty at specific times of the day. But you have to have the patience for it. Be consistent in rewarding your pet, but be firm in rejecting unwanted behaviors.

Of course, it's hard to follow a schedule when your puppy is suffering from an upset stomach. If you think the little guy ingested non-edible stuff, call your veterinary health center Wichita, KS immediately.
