The Royal Oak Inn of Luxborough is a traditional country inn that retains all its character and atmosphere, yet offers exceptional accommodation and an excellent restaurant. Set within the beautiful surroundings of Exmoor, it is an ideal base from which to experience your country break.
Our wonderful inn is over 600 years old and still maintains many original features, including original flagstone and cobblestone flooring, plus stone walls and open beams. We have an array of unique rooms available which boast stylish interiors. In total, there are 9 attractive bedrooms available, from a mini-suite to a Royal oak suite, we have something for everyone. All the rooms include a range of excellent facilities:

You can savour a delicious meal in our fabulous restaurant which is brimming with rustic charm and interior features. There are 3 main rooms to dine in, including The Pine Room, the map rooms and the private dining area. When the sun is shining, you can dine in the sun-filled courtyard. For a relaxing drink or two, head to the main bar which boasts a gorgeous inglenook fireplace, or the back bar area which has comfy seating and an abundant vinyl collection.
