Meanwhile, the alleged abuser of the cats, Grawn resident Kathy Jasinski was arraigned in 86th District Court recently on charges of abandonment and cruelty of 25 or more animals. Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City still has some cats that are being treated for upper respiratory problems and other issues but hopes to have kitties like these two up for adoption soon.
