When pets from the wild are brought to a domestic home, their eagerness to explore will always be there. It is not uncommon to see rabbits sneaking out of their room when they get a chance. When they see an opportunity to explore, they will grab it. This can be problematic for the owners. Here are some places you should always check when your rabbit goes missing.

· Behind the curtain – Rabbits love to chew, and they get excited with the sign of chewable fabric. They get quickly drawn to places where they can find something to chew.

· Fireplace – One of the darkest and quietest areas of the house. Rabbits love silence and dim lights. In most cases, you'll find your rabbit sleeping near the fireplace because of the comfort it brings him.

· Under or near home furniture – Rabbits love hiding here because it is also dark- a perfect spot to nap.

· Other rooms in the house – When the doors of other rooms are left often, rabbits include them in their adventure.

Your local vet Chesapeake, VA is a valuable resource regarding issues affecting your pet's health and behavior.
