Shell Island Campsite near Llanbedr offers a lovely camping getaway. Based in Gwynedd, we enjoy glorious views of the countryside, Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia National Park.

We are one of the large campsites in Europe, with 300 acres of land available for camping. Pitches are not allocated, allowing you to find your perfect spot.

Please check-in at reception on arrival and please note that campers may not pitch within 15 meters of another tent in the same field to provide plenty of peace and privacy. The site has lots of water points, fire extinguisher points and over 4 miles of roads and tracks across the Island to enjoy.

Accommodation is also available in chalets or flats. They all come with bedrooms, bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, living area and a decking area.

Facilities include a shower block with a changing area, plus a ladies shower that has a large make-up/hair room with separate mirrors and plugs. A disabled shower and toilet room is available,

Next to the supermarket is a laundrette. We also have a games room and an on-site camp shop.

You can enjoy some delicious food at The Shell Islands Restaurant or enjoy a drink or two at the Tavern Bar. Great attractions to visit include:

Harlech Beach.
Llanfair Slate Caverns.
