Holmws Farm Cottages are situated in Newport, in a quiet and peaceful part of Pembrokeshire and have easy access to the famous Pembrokeshire coast path, a 15 minute walk away. One of our holiday homes sleeps 4 and the other sleeps 6. They can be let individually or together, accommodating a group of up to 10 people. The properties are down a farm lane, 200 yards from the main road.
The first self catering cottage, Bwthyn Holmws, has three double bedrooms. One king sized bedded room and one twin bedded room are on the ground floor (with a small step down from the living room), and a further twin bedded room is upstairs. There is a good sized kitchen, large bathroom containing a large bath and separate shower cubicle and a comfortable beamed ceiling sitting room. There is a fenced patio and grass area outside the back door.
The second holiday cottage Bwthyn y Graig has two double bedrooms, one with a king sized bed, and one with twin beds. The accommodation is on one level. The living room is open beamed to the roof, with patio doors to the self contained patio.
Both self catering cottages have a washing machine, a dishwasher and oil fired central heating. They are furnished comfortably to a high specification and have television, DVD and a radio/CD. We request that no-one smokes in the cottages. Each garden is self contained with a patio. Each holiday cottage has a parking space, and further vehicles can be parked easily on site. The owners live on site in the farm house and maintain the cottages and gardens themselves.
The location of the holiday cottages is quiet and peaceful and gives easy access to the coast path, common land/Carn Ingli, and Newport town. The picturesque Aber Rhigian beach is a 20 minute walk from the door. Local regular buses to Cardigan and Fishguard run past the end of our lane. The holiday cottages have been converted from a 200 year old traditional stone barn. Original features such as stone walls, Pembrokeshire slate and original beams have been kept where possible.
