Gorton House - Sleeps 13:
This spacious five-bedroom holiday house seamlessly combines modern amenities with the character and features of the original 17th Century farmhouse and its Victorian extension. Guests particularly cherish the master bedroom with its bay window overlooking Roslin Glen, as well as the grand staircase and cozy log-burning stoves. For larger groups, a connecting (soundproof) door at the end of the ground floor corridor allows Gorton House to be combined with the East Wing.
East House - Sleeps 6:
This charming holiday house blends modern comforts with the charm and features of its early 17th Century origins. The ingle-nook fireplace in the sitting room, complete with a wood-burning stove, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Orchard Cottages - Each Sleep 4:
Plum, Apple, and Cherry Cottage are designed to complement the historic Gorton House. All offer south-facing views of the walled garden and take their names from the fruit trees nearby. Each cottage boasts a spacious garden and private parking area, inviting you to relax and soak in the surroundings.
Stable Cottage - Sleeps 2:
Converted from the former stables on Gorton House grounds, this holiday cottage offers breathtaking views of Roslin Glen, a nature reserve along the River North Esk, and the Pentland Hills. While featuring modern construction standards for comfort, it retains the 17th Century aesthetic. The sitting room's patio door offers direct vistas of fields and woods, making Stable Cottage a favorite among wildlife enthusiasts.
