Only 370 today, not even close to the 1000 I wanted. Work was non-stop today, which I don't mind. I like a busy day because that normally means its a productive one, but boy was it knackering. I got home and just crashed.
What I did write was some good ground work for the next few scenes.
I do need to get a sleep pattern sorted out. I'm trying to transition into one where I'm getting a short nap in the afternoon and then a somewhat early night around 9pm, but with a movie on. No gaming after say 7pm. No devices after 9pm. I'm gonna try and do this on nights when I'm not at work at the next day as well, and will only deviate from this if I'm working or have a social event.
I never really appreciated how much a lack of sleep affects until the last few years. I'm more energised, more capable, and all round better in myself. I never appreciated how much it impacts mental health as well. When I'm able to get a solid amount of sleep I notice it, and my anxieties are a lot easier to manage. It's less of a battle against myself and giving myself better tools in managing and improving both my mental health and working on growing as a person.
Okay, I feel like I'm rambling so I'm gonna log off, do the washing up and then pop a movie on to wind down.
