There's not enough communion in this fast-paced world of ours.
We're so busy running around and doing nothing important.
When's the last time you had a chat with friends? Just talking about life and what's important?
Do we even know what's important anymore?
We're glued to our phones. We're scrolling our apps.
We do this beside each other.
And we don't communicate with each other.
I had lunch with a couple of people on my team today.
It was nice to share a meal and chat.
It was nice bumping into folks during the Fringe and having some mini chats.
We're social animals.
We need to socialize.
But social media doesn't fill that need.
We've got to talk to each other. In real time.
Make a date with a friend. Grab a coffee together. Have a meal.
Commune!
