She wanted plants for the hospital garden and for herself. My interest wasn't altruistic: I only thought of myself, but I still wanted to see what was on sale. We got a rather late start for a trip to the city, but we managed.  The Jeep was packed like Tetris or a jigsaw puzzle.  First thing our daughter bought was a variety of sturdy bins, so plants could be stacked and protected. System worked well. We only stopped at two plant places: Home Depot garden centre and Art Knapp's, and might have shopped at others, but the Jeep was full and the day getting gone.
