Labour Day Lament

By Peter Gruner on September 1, 2024

It's Labour Day weekend. Hard to believe that the summer is over already.

It went by so quickly.

Instead of whining it about it being over, I should appreciate what we were able to do.

Deb and I fit in a lot of things over the past few weeks.

Hung out with friends. Saw shows. Went camping.

Saw old friends and family. Made new friends.

Ate yummy foods. Drank wine and beer.

And most importantly, hung out with our kids.

Caileigh got a great photo of us down at the dock last week. It encapsulates the feeling of this summer.

My only complaint is that Caileigh isn't in the photo.

Here are a few more photos from that weekend.

And, guess what? It's only nine more months until next summer!

Caileigh and Chris
Keaton and Kate
Tara, Dodger, and Dan
