Lakeview Holidays in Fairford offers outstanding self-catering accommodation in 5 fabulous properties, nestled away in the idyllic banks of the Whelford Pools fishing lake. Based in a scenic area of Gloucestershire, we are perfect for an unforgettable getaway in the Cotswolds.

We have 3 apartments and a 4- and 3-bedroom house to choose from, all ideal for a magical holiday. All the properties are finished to the highest standards and have the use of a children's play area. We are also part of the Cotswold Water Park, our sister company, Whelford Pools, offering some of the country's bed fishing.

Willow – Sleeps 12: Our luxurious property is set on the edge of the lake and is great for a family or group getaway. Inside there is a fully-equipped family kitchen for home cooking, including a dishwasher, oven and hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. A separate utility room comes with a washing machine. Savour some delicious dishes around the large dining that seats 12. Unwind in the main living space that includes comfy seating, a flat-screen TV and an open fireplace. Have fun in the games room which includes an American pool table, table football, a selection of board games and a small library.

In total, there are 4 bedrooms. On the first floor, there is a 1 king en suite, 1 king with private seating, 1 double with a balcony and 3 single beds. The newly refurbished family bathroom has a bath/shower and the en suite wet room has a bath/shower. Outside there is a charming patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. Soak away your troubles in the brand-new hot tub.

Heron - Sleeps 5: This gorgeous stone house boasts a private decking area that offers delightful river views. You can also relax with a glass of bubbly in the private hot tub. The main living room has comfy seating, a flat-screen TV and comfortable seating, whilst a modern kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, oven and ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Upstairs there are 3 beautiful bedrooms, including a master double en suite room, 1 twin room and 1 single room. The family bathroom has a corner bath with a shower head and a heated towel rail. Outside on the decking area, there is a table and chairs, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Mallard – Sleeps 5: Our fantastic south-facing first-floor apartment enjoys stunning lake views, set in the idyllic Cotswold countryside. A lovely open-plan living/kitchen/dining room will suit all your needs. A cosy living space has a corner sofa seating five, an extending dining table and chairs and a flat-screen TV. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen that includes a fridge, ceramic hob, kettle, toaster and large microwave with oven/grill function, iron and ironing board.

Two comfortable bedrooms are available, 1 double room and 1 triple bunk room with a single bed over the double. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower and glass screen. Outside there is patio seating and BBQ for al fresco dining in the evening sun. Soak you muscles in the luxurious hot tub whilst savouring the setting.

Grebe – Sleeps 2: This superb first-floor apartment is great for a romantic getaway in the country. Accessed via a private garden with an external staircase, you'll find a sun-filled living space with seating and a large flat-screen TV. Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that includes a fridge, ceramic hob, kettle, toaster, oven, microwave, iron and ironing board.

The bedrooms include a comfy double bed and the family bathroom has a shower over the bath. Outside there is a private patio with seating and a BBQ and you can unwind in the hot tub whilst gazing at the starry night sky.

Kingfisher – Sleeps 2: Our outstanding 1-bedroom apartment sleep 2 and has been finished to a high standard. The roomy studio apartment has a lovely open-plan living/kitchen/dining area. A delightful living area includes a TV and the fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, ceramic hob, kettle, toaster and large microwave with grill function, iron and ironing board.

The beautiful bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom has a wash hand basin, WC and a double-sized shower cubicle with sliding glass doors and heated towel rail. Outside there is a patio and BBQ for al fresco dining.

You can visit the nearby Cotswold villages and towns, whilst a picturesque towpath along the River Thames at Lechlade is great for walkers. You'll also find lots of shops to browse. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
