Before the year of bullying I had not seen anyone get bullied before, at least not on that level. It does remind me of this kid I used to know named KJ. KJ had what I would call a "Smart mouth " , he said and did disrespectful stuff to people and they usually beat him up for it. Violence is never the answer but KJ apparently found the question that it is the answer to more often than not.

KJ lived 2 blocks away from my grandmother's house where I spent a bunch of time. That's where I went every morning before school my entire life, there were two schools within 2 blocks of her house and I went to both.KJ would meet me there every morning for 3 years just so we could walk that 1 block to school together.

KJ met me in the 6th grade and I can always remember him being disrespectful. He calls it "talking trash" I always called it being a jerk. He has a way of saying things to people that cross the line, it's like his specialty.

KJ and I always walked to school together, but on the way home I either walked alone are with my friends . Every other day walking home from school I would see KJ running past getting chased by 2 or 3 other kids. Thats because he said something stupid about someone's mother are family and now they want to hurt him. Or he did some stupid practical joke like throw water on someone, pull someone seat back as they sit so they fall, trip someone, throw stuff at people....

It was this kid named Mike and he looked like a shrunken clone of Mike Tyson. Mike actually did bully KJ. Mike would do so much violent stuff to KJ that no one ever questioned if he was as tough as he appeared. Mike almost broke KJ jaw once. We were at our lockers and KJ had a bottom locker and Mike just walked up to him and kneed him right in the face while he was bent down putting his stuff away. The school called the cops and the parents. After Mike was allowed back in school KJ mom walked him home for about 3 months.

The craziest part is KJ and Mike were cousins. At first I didn't believe it, then I thought about it. Who would claim a violent bully that beats them up and threatens them all the time unless it was true?

KJ liked to get as disrespectful as he could when he insulted people. Talking about people's mother's was his favorite. He stopped for a brief moment when everyone saw his mom. She looked really old and kids are cruel, they started calling her " Rigor mortis" because they thought that sounds really old and funny. At the time just because he was talking about everyone's else mom it was a kind of funny.

Mike tried to bully me but he never touched me. I don't remember Mike beating anyone up except KJ.The way Mike would slam KJ around he gained a reputation off of that. I argued with Mike many times because he was always giving out these idle threats all the time on how he was going to beat me up, but he never did. He really did beat KJ up.

KJ was a clown in every since of the word. I remember he would make up these songs about kids in class to insult them, and he would perform the songs in the halls between classes, at lunch or after school. That's one of the reasons he got chased home every day. We lived in a rough neighborhood, these kids didn't want some clown singing insult songs to them. They let him know this by chasing him and beating him up.

KJ has never changed that's why I had to not associate with him at all. KJ thinks he can say horrible things to people and then there supposed to be ok with it. Drama follows him everywhere he goes.
