This is a sponsored post.

I can't believe we're already onto October's advertisers! This year seems to be just flying by, and I definitely have some mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it's my favourite time of year with my birthday and then Christmas. On the other hand I hate wishing the year away, and another birthday just means I'm another year older!

Onto today's post, and I have some fantastic bloggers advertising with me this month!

Ticking the List

Ellie runs a fantastic travel blog called Ticking the List, which is dedicated to sharing travel tips and tricks from her own adventures, blogging strategies and sharing her journey to creating and running your own online business. In 2016 Ellie decided she wanted more out of life, so she moved halfway across the world and starting creating her ultimate travel bucket list. By creating this blog she can share her journey with us all as she ticks off her list!

There are so many posts to choose from over on the blog, and so many destinations to visit while you're there! A couple of posts you should definitely check out are:

Flying Solo in Paris: Things to do in Paris Alone - This is an extensive guide to visiting Paris alone, with countless recommendations of activities and tips based on Ellie's own experience in the city.

13 Essentials for a Long Haul Flight: A Survival Guide - From experience I know that travelling long haul can be a bit uncomfortable and not the most pleasant experience, especially when you're on your own. This is a great guide to what you should be packing to make your flight that little bit more comfortable.

That mama club

This is a fantastic educational blog that focuses on being an informative space for mothers and expectant mothers. They talk about so many topics related to motherhood, including mental health, days out, food, sex & relationships, and so much more! This is a great blog to browse through if you're expecting a little one or, if like me, you're interested in reading about a range of female related topics.

Here are a couple of posts you should definitely have a read of:

TMC Talk - Toxic Shock Syndrome - This is a really informative post about Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). The post goes into detail about the causes, symptoms and treatments of TSS, a condition that a lot of us have heard of but don't necessarily know much about. It's interesting to know some of the everyday actions that can cause it, such as using tampons or certain female contraceptives. It's also important to know some of the signs to look out for, as well as how to get treated.

Navigating Healthcare as a Pregnant Trans Person - This is such an interesting post that follows the journey of someone who became pregnant after undergoing a gender change. The post really goes into detail of his treatment whilst pregnant and during labour, and highlights the struggles that are associated with being a pregnant trans person. It's really upsetting to read how he was treated throughout his first pregnancy, and it's shocking to know the healthcare system can treat somebody like that.

Lynn Mumbing Mejia

Lynn's beautiful blog was created for people who want to be a part of a homemaking community. You'll find so many lovely, cosy posts and topics, including DIY, lovely recipes, gift ideas and home décor trends & hacks to create a beautiful home. She focuses on creating a life she wants to live and working hard to get there.

As I said, there are so many lovely posts to read on this blog, but a couple of my favourites are:

7 Fall mantel décor must haves - Lynn talks us through some of the items that she will always use on her mantel to decorate for Autumn, including leaf garlands, candlesticks and of course, pumpkins. She's picked out some really lovely examples that'll look great in your home.

15 Modern Halloween home decor ideas - She shares some items that you can use for Halloween décor that would suit a modern and classy home. It's easy (especially for me here in the UK) to get bombarded with so much tacky décor in garish colours. Lynn shares some of her favourite pieces to decorate with that aren't tacky in the slightest but still brilliant for the Halloween and Autumn season.

The Peculiar Adventurer

Jenna's blog, The Peculiar Adventurer - Where Travel Gets Weird, combines her love for travel and fascination with all things weird. Based in Milwaukee in the U.S, Jenna likes to dabble in the stranger side of life, which includes exploring lesser-known spots. This blog features a range of spooky travel posts as well as paranormal tales and true crime stories.

A couple of my favourite posts are:

5 Spooky Fall Road Trips - This post features 5 incredibly spooky places you definitely need to add to your road trip bucket list! One place that is particularly haunting is the Villisca Ax Murder House, which is the site of an unsolved massacre in 1912. You can stay overnight in the house and there have been reports of unexplained voices and noises coming from inside.

5 Otherworldy Places You Can Actually Visit - This features some beautiful sites that are a complete wonder. One place that's always been on my list to visit is the Giant's Causeway in Ireland, and it's good to know you can actually visit these places!

Sunshine Sarah

Sarah's blog, Sunshine Sarah, follows a 30 something year old woman's journey as she navigates her way through life. She shares a huge variety of posts covering many topics, including mental health, midsize fashion, self-care routines and life as a vegan. She also features lots of travel, film & Netflix recommendations, as well as some great lifestyle tips and tricks.

One thing I really enjoy about Sarah's blog is the range of vegan food based posts she features. Some of my favourites are:

5 Vegan Meals To Make In Under 5 Minutes - As a vegetarian who likes to swap out vegan alternatives when I can, this post is incredibly helpful. A lot of the vegan meals I come across take hours to prepare and make, and require a lot of effort. This post features 5 delicious lunch ideas that you can make in a small space of time, and are guaranteed to satisfy you for the rest of the day.

Veganism 2 years on - This is a great post that talks us through Sarah's journey to veganism. I'm on a similar journey myself, and have followed a lot of the same steps as she has so it's really helpful to know how to by-pass certain road blocks along the way. If you're looking to convert to veganism or just looking to learn more about it, definitely have a read of this post.

Until next time
