Feed your pet in the morning, noon, afternoon, and evening. Or, if you're mostly at home, you can give your animal food whenever it asks for some.
Consider also that a puppy's digestive organs aren't as big as their adult counterparts. It means processing all the food it eats will take a shorter time, which translates to more frequent bathroom "breaks." You can train your puppy to go potty at specific times of the day. But you have to have the patience for it. Be consistent in rewarding your pet, but be firm in rejecting unwanted behaviors.
