Wenlock Studios offers fabulous self-catering accommodation in the charming market town of Much Wenlock. Our holiday lets are set in gorgeous Shropshire countryside, a haven for country lovers looking for somewhere special to stay.
Westwood Lodge: Our brand-new timber-framed lodge offers the ultimate in luxury, ideal for a memorable rural retreat. This modern property sleeps up to 16 people, great for families or groups looking for somewhere special to stay.
Downstairs there is a large games room complete with a pool table, air hockey table, and a 42" smart television linked to an Xbox One, Blu-Ray player and Netflix connectivity. A contemporary kitchen comes with a range of excellent appliances for rustling up some delicious dishes. Unwind in the cosy open plan living/dining area which has an extendable dining table for up to 16 people, a leather settee and 52" television. A log burner and underfloor heating will keep you toasty in the winter months. A small WC and dog shower are also available.
The lodge has 8 beautiful bedrooms, four of which has en suite shower rooms. 5 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. There are 5 king rooms which can be made as twins and upstairs there are six single beds which can be made as kings. One of the upstairs bedrooms has an adjoining bathroom. A spacious wheelchair-accessible wet room is on the ground floor. All bed linen is provided.
Outside there is a private enclosed garden and decking area with seating for 16 and a fire pit to huddle around whilst star gazing. A gorgeous hot tub seats 12 people and is ideal for enjoying a tipple whilst savouring the country views. The hot tub is closed with glazed balustrades, a covered BBQ area, fire bowl, table tennis table and dartboard. A stable can houses one well-behaved medium-sized horse, with a paddock for them to canter.
Wenlock Edge Studio: We also offer outstanding accommodation in our stylish studio. The studio offers a lovely place to unwind whilst admiring the amazing countryside views. Inside there is a wonderful open plan kitchen/lounge area and a bedroom with an en suite bathroom/shower room. The dorma bedroom boasts an ultra-comfy king-size bed which can be made into a twin.
Enjoy making some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen which has a built-in oven and hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, kitchen utensils and tea towels (toiletries and towels are provided). The kitchen has a small breakfast bar. After a day in the countryside, relax in the lounge area which has a new 42inch television with a DVD player. Outside there is an enclosed private garden and tables and chairs are available for al fresco dining.
While staying with us you can visit lots of superb attractions in the area, including The Much Wenlock Museum which explores the life of Dr. William Penny Brookes and his creation of the modern Olympic Games. You can visit Shrewsbury Castle, now a fascinating museum and art gallery, whilst just outside of Shrewsbury is Attingham Park, a gorgeous National Trust property. The Wrekin offers a popular walk for walkers and is also great for your four-legged friend.
