My big girl Piper recently had a mass removed that grew from her mammary gland. Fortunately, it came back benign, so it was just an odd growth. She seems to be recovering well from the surgery, getting her appetite back the very next day. She had to be confined for a few days, which she did not like, but is allowed her regular free-roam freedom now. She's spending most of her days in the living room, sleeping under a chair or a table, sometimes snuggling with her little man, Cameron. We're so happy she's doing well, as she's the tough and stable one in our family, possibly more-so than any of the humans too. Her health has generally been very good up until this point, so he hope those good genes of hers will continue to help. I'm making it a point to check over all buns for any bodily changes on a regular basis now, even in those sensitive areas rabbits don't want us to touch. Better safe than sorry!
