The Masters 3rd to 9th April
The first golf major of the year swings into Augusta, Georgia in the first week of April. Always a hotly anticipated tournament, this year's promises to come with added spice due to the ongoing drama surrounding the LIV split. Scottie Scheffler was victorious last time out, winning his first major.
The Grand National 15th April
The Grand National, a steeplechase held at Aintree, Liverpool every year is way more than 'just' a horse race. It has become a British sporting institution and has grown every year since the inaugural race in 1839. It is also the jump race to win, being the richest in Europe and is the Blue Riband event for any jockey, owner and trainer.
World Snooker 15th April to 1st May
The greatest snooker players in the world come together at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield to compete for the number one trophy in the sport. English players have had a white wash in the final in the last three years, with Ronnie O'Sullivan winning last year.
London Marathon
Whether you are an elite runner, a club runner, a novice ticking it off the bucket list or one of the tens of thousands of spectators who line the route, this is deservedly the biggest and most famous marathon on the planet. It also has the best setting.
US PGA 18th to 21st May
Golf's second major comes to Rochester New York's Oak Hill East Corse in mid May. Justin Thomas won last year's event, at Tulsa.
Rugby Union Final Weekend 19th and 20th May
Dublin's Aviva Stadium plays host to back to back rugby union finals, with the EPCR Challenge Cup final on the Friday, followed by the Heineken Champions Cup final on the Saturday. Dublin is known for its convivial and party atmosphere on a normal weekend, so this promises to be one of the best events on the calendar for the Irish capital.
Tennis French Open 28th May to 11th June
Not that you need an excuse to go to Paris, one of our top ten picks in the world, but the first tennis Grand Slam takes place in the last week of May.
EFL Play Off Finals 27th to 29th May
A whole season comes down to one match. The most tense game of the season, with teams battling it out at Wembley to see who will get promoted to League One, the championship and the EPL. The last of those is the richest game in world football.
Uefa Europa League 31st May
With some big hitters still in this year's tournament and taking it seriously, the final in the Puskás Aréna Park, Budapest, Hungary promises to be a fantastic curtain closer.

The year's EPL has been one of the best ever. The action looks like it will go down to the wire at both ends of the table.
