Wow! That was twelve years ago. I can barely remember last week let along that long ago but I digress. Just a joke about my memory (which sometimes is wobbly and other times is amazing - such is life!) but back to being a bit serious.
On this day I first started this blog. So much has changed with my life and in the world since then, but I don't want to bore you (or me) with any of that. I will say that I've changed camera systems several times since 2011 and my subject matter has changed quite a bit as well.
I will never stop loving macro photography, but I've drifted from photographing humans and cities to photographing birds and other creatures in nature. But I'm still afraid of kayaking and while I might be amenable to being in a cabin...you are NOT going to get me in a tent!
And my hair has gone from dark to silver and I like it!
So happy anniversary to me and this blog and I hope I can continue with it. Thank you, all old and new followers, for joining me on this journey. Let's see where things go in the next year. Have a great rest of your week.
