"Benny"
My little guy Benny had his second molar grind so far this year last week. He tolerated it like a champ, but I wish he didn't need it. He keeps growing small, sharp spurs on his molars. He's a good hay eater, so it seems like it might just be a genetic issue for him. Two of my other buns, Cameron and Rosie, also have slight spurs on their teeth, but they seem to eat enough hay to prevent the spurs from becoming a problem.
I thought that maybe coarser hay would be better, so I bought a couple of different kinds, but Benny was not interested. All he wants is the nice second-cut hay that we usually have. My vet suggested dark, leafy greens, but while he's a good greens eater, I don't know if more greens will make more of a difference than hay would. Any advice would be appreciated, dear readers!
