How can it be Thursday again? How is it NOVEMBER? Eek!
Despite my continuing amazement about the apparent speed of the passing of time, all is well here.
Yesterday afternoon, I took a message from a specialist in Prince George for Gary: he could choose today for an appointment, or Monday. I "helped" by choosing Monday. I didn't explain that I had had a personal flight of fancy shopping day in the big city just this Tuesday.
Now, Gary wouldn't need me to drive or help in any way. However, now that my schedule is more flexible, I elect to accompany him. Perhaps we will look at some cars, or I will shop for anything I missed the other day. I'll give him the option of going by himself … maybe he wants a break from me.
Lately, I no longer claim to get to Costco/Prince George only twice per year! We've joined the ranks of seniors who wear out the highway to the "big" city for doctors' appointments. Later in November we are booked for the dentist too!
When will I get back to Edmonton to see Sara and her family? 🤷♀️ I still feel guilty about not staying overnight last month.

Tomorrow is the opening of a new boarding facility in the Valley. Our friend Mellany will have 10 outdoor runs with a brand new dog house in each. She has invited me to do the ribbon cutting.
When Mel picked up the pop and goodies I had purchased in Prince George for this occasion, she had not set up the kennels yet: this was last night at 6 pm.! She will have a busy day today.
I did not offer to help like a good friend would. I have made a congratulatory cake, and last night baked cookies from frozen dough that Mellany dropped off. I might drive over there later today (because I do like assembling kennels.)
Okay … the frittata is ready to eat, fire stoked, the one boarding dog fed.
Hope your day is grand, not a grind (or see above meme).
Love, Ann
