Spring stands at the gate with her finger on the latch." - Patience Strong (poet) I am not a big fan of February, such a dreary month, Thank goodness it only has 28 days, except this year which has 29.  It is a Leap Year. I need to try and be more optimistic just like Patience. Today is a good day so I ventured out into the garden to see what was happening.  There were some promising signs of Spring. Famous Victorian gardener Gertude Jeckyll was even more optimistic... "There is always in February, some one day , at least, when one smells,the yet distant , but surely coming Summer" The grass needs cutting but it is too wet, A welcome visitor..
