Oman is an Asian country located in the southeast corner of the Arabian Peninsula. The country sits at the mouth of the Persian Gulf. It is a desert region bisected by a range of mountains. Egyptian vultures are a species of Old World vultures native to the Arabian Peninsula. They live in the mountains of Oman
Also in the Oman mountains, you can find golden eagles
Omani owls are the only birds endemic to Oman
Marine Animals
Humpback whales are among the largest mammals in the world. They can be seen off the coast of the Dhofar Governorate in the southeastern parts of the country
Spinner dolphins are a small species of dolphins known for their aerial prowess. They can be seen off the coast of Muscat in southern Oman
Also on the coast of Muscat, you can see sperm whales which are the largest toothed whales as well as largest toothed predators in the world
