As expected, this was a month where the pendulum swung the other way. The weight pendulum, that is.
After a few months of decreasing my weight, I gained back most of it. My average weight for April was 208.9lbs. Almost up to my January weight.
It would have been higher if I hadn't revisited Intermittent Fasting last week.
The month started off with an Easter visit to Montreal. There was some eating done. And lots of it.
My late-night snacking also caught up with me.
Especially since I wasn't doing any long distance running in April. I took a few weeks off after the Around the Bay and I haven't gotten back to a regular running schedule yet.
It's funny. I have such a difficult time not snacking in the evenings.
Except when I'm doing Intermittent Fasting.
It's like a switch gets turned off.
So, I'm back on the schedule I had a while ago. During the week, my first meal of the day is at 5pm. And then I stop eating around 9 or 10pm.
On the weekends, I eat regularly.
So, I lose some weight during the week and then gain a little of it back on the weekend. But not as much as the week before.
Intermittent Fasting will be my focus for May. I don't plan on doing any long fasts (24 hours or more), but I'm curious to see how a month of IF will go.
