I have been aware that Querida is at a point where she is ready to release emotions and take that leap of faith we mentioned in the previous posts, but I have struggled with understanding the messages regarding her physical. The crab often comes up as a guide for the physical with Querida, and with myself. but I just wasn't seeing the message in its entirety. I was too focussed on the emotions. It is sometimes difficult to remember it is always about balance.
This happens when you are learning and it is always best to get another perspective. It is doubly important when you also have a deep connection with the animal that lives with you, because sometimes you share too much emotion, or something deep within is not ready to let you see what you need to see.
I asked Michaela to have a conversation with Querida. She has been helping Querida with the physical element of her healing and we needed her again to assess and sense what was happening. This is a summary of the conversation she had.
"It took me a while as it's taken me off researching both physical and emotional connections.
Difficult to describe some of this but I'll try.
She showed me her body energy. It looks like millions of fire flies rather than a continuous flow.
She is connected to ground via caudal and nose but it's vortexing around her gut area. She showed me her lifting her head and opening mouth to try and let it out.. she's forcing too much I feel. She says it won't go. I'm getting tired trying. Body very tired.
Suddenly I then got a beam from the sky that lit up her gut and kidney area. A horse appeared put of the beam and was rubbing his huge spiritual head whiskers over that area and looking at me.
She said when she tries it gets stuck in upper chest, throat.
Emotionally she wants to release but her body is not strong enough?
This led me off on connection between liver, asthma physically and emotionally.
Emotionally I feel she's in a much better place but she's feeling confined in her body, I felt like my skin was too tight and my energy couldn't expand beyond it.
Anyway the link between the physical issues here is gut microbiota, leptin and immunity. No surprise there really but I felt that if her body was stronger she could shift this. I'm sure you give stuff that is prebiotic but you may want to increase this for her, look at more options? Kidney Support and look into leptin levels?
Hope this makes sense but she was clear here her body is tired and preventing release xx
After lots of sharing of research and what she gets already in her diet, and potentially what I can do, it came down to helping with the physical fatigue. All her bodies functions are balanced and supported generally but she needs a lift to help her over this crisis. I had some marine algae that I had got in last week for another horse and offered Querida some of that. She ate about 500g and was ready for more. She will get more over a couple of days as a free herb (she can have as much as she needs), then I will add a regular dose to her feed to help her get through this phase of her healing. I have also ordered something to help her with leptins and boost her immune system in the short term.
When you are working with emotions, whether with yourself or others, humans, or animals, the message here is to always remember that emotions are tiring, especially if they are painful memories and have been with you for many years. The body can need support to release. It is often at this point that it is easier to give up, and just push all those emotions back down, out of the way. Life was easier then - we can tell ourselves. But imagine how good life will be when all those emotions are washed out and the body is released from managing them, as well as itself.
This whole message reminded me of Chocolate 4-5 years ago. She went through a similar crisis and is now amazingly healthy at 25 years old. Laminitis appears to be a thing of the past for her. She manages her diet and weight superbly. She is bouncy and full of life, the herd leader and not handing over yet. She manages a little bit of joint soreness in her hocks in cold weather - a throwback to the laminitis years and of course age. Querida will take her leap of faith with the help of her body and we will support her as best we can.
She will decide her next path.
