Am really starting get excited for the road trip to Manitoba with my Gary. Shelly will be in charge here.
We will drive for two days each way, but the destination is Uncle Paul's cottage at Gimli, on Lake Winnipeg.
I'm looking forward to sitting in a lawn chair doing absolutely nothing. This is something I do extremely well in the right setting.

Shelly and I went out to Dunster for an afternoon of socializing and a silent auction for little works of art. I made the highest bid on a framed photo of periwinkle that grows at the Dunster Community Hall.
This is me practicing for a relaxing holiday.
I'm in the lawn chair bottom right.
Mica checks out a flower bed.
Gary and Shayne unload firewood for next winter's supply.
Gary tends the garlic patch.
A funny thing yesterday… I put on my spring coat and realized that something was in the pocket. This was the Lindt bunny I bought on sale when I went into Prince George three weeks ago. It was melted and sat upon, but lucky for me, well wrapped/didn't leak.
It was meant to be for our Linden when she visits in August: I'll buy her some better, undamaged chocolate before then.
Today I need to get to the house in town between one health professional checking out and another arriving. I guess hotels have staff for that. 😀👍 That's me. I'm the staff.
