Friends of ours are vacationing in Scotland!
Quiraing Trail, Isle Of Skye
They are on scheduled day hikes. I'm sure I would not have been able to keep up.

Meanwhile, here in our corner of the world, I've been digging 'n moving plants about. I'm trying to get progress made before the perennials are too big to relocate. I'm all for breaking gardening "rules", but I do like to have precious plants survive.
A few times I've dug out entire clumps and thrown them "over the bank". And yes, that means that in our shallow ravine, there are stands of comfrey, goutweed, false bamboo, campanula, and more. Also down there are a few precious specimens that I might or might not retrieve at another time, like tulips or lilies, which were mixed in the messes I gave up on. π€·πΌ♀️
Because I've been a bit busy, it seems for years, sometimes I feel like I'm getting to know the garden anew. Some beloved plants have been encroached upon by weeds and invasive ornamental perennials (more weeds). I'm trying to extricate the favourites.
Decades ago, Bonnie Culp advised me that it was a lot easier to build a new flower bed than renovate an old one. I know this to be true, but I'm reluctant to abandon the original beds. π€
Hope your day is great.
