Yesterday was grand. I groomed a precious dog, one of very few I still accept.
Bean
I delivered Bean to her home, took a few things to the transfer station, then stopped at our friends' food truck.
Many, many are so proud of Barb, a young Mennonite gal who grew up in Dunster, and her new husband Linton.
The couple have had to deal with judgement from the Church, and red tape from our municipal government.
I had to smile while I waited to place my lunch requests: in the lineup stood a politician who had been unkind to Barb to her face and behind her back. I don't know if that person is a big fat hypocrite , or if Barb and Linton have won them over. 🤷🏼♀️
After our lunch at home, I went back into town. Because friends who had lost both parents (within weeks of each other) were still trying to sort out the house and property, I picked up enough lattes for the crew.
We all had a little visit and I hauled a carload of goodies to the swap shed. Then I got groceries, came home, and worked a little more in the yard.
I dug this little beauty from the horse pasture.
That was it for Friday, now today is the first Dunster Market of the season! You know how I love the Market and my Dunster friends.
Hope you have a good day! Thank you for reading my blog.
Love, Ann
