I've been trying to focus on my intuition and pay attention to synchronicities. But I don't always listen.
On Saturday, I was getting dressed and looked at my nightstand. There's a toonie on my nightstand. (That's a two-dollar coin for non-Canadians.)
Now, that toonie has been there for at least SIX months... And I've looked at it many times.
But on this Saturday, I got the sense that I should pick it up and take it with me.
What am I going to need a toonie for?
I tried to think of why I would need a toonie and rejected the idea. All the places I was going took credit or debit cards.
I rarely carry cash.
So, I left it on the night stand.
And then on Sunday, I needed to put some air in my car's tires.
Guess what? It cost a toonie.
A toonie coin.
And I didn't have one on me. Because I thought it was silly.
It's not so easy listening to your intuition.
Not when your rational mind is ready to rebut any suggestions.
Next time, I'll try to be more open to the possibilities…
