You have probably noticed recently that I am sharing more detail regarding my journeys into the realms of healing and spirit, sharing messages from animal spirits and gaurdians, delving more into the healing depths of the elements of water, fire, air, earth and spirit. It is the right time to press forward on my shamanic path, to go deeper.
A few months ago, on a visit to Africa with my sister, we were in a group of people sharing an introduction on the reading of feet from a reflexologist, and my toes tell me I follow my heart more than my head. My sister remarked that I had always followed my heart. It was an interesting, unexpected, statement which I have mulled over and considered in the months since, as new depths of my path have opened up to me.
Over my life I have followed my intuition and/or my heart, as I have navigated life from childhood, to career, to retirement. There have always been animals in my life. As a child and teenager, dogs kept me safe and in tune with my imagination. As a young adult cats came into my life to help me maintain a link to my inner wild self, while mapping a route through my career under their guardianship. And at the right time, horses came into my life to move me onto the path of connection, communication and healing.
For those who have only known the intellectual side of my personality, it will be a little difficult to comprehend that they have only ever known me in that particular role; the same goes for family as they learn the depths of the path I am now on and realise that they only knew a part I was playing. The many faces we display often cover over the true depths of our being, human and animal alike.
Why do we fear sharing our spirit? Why do we feel the need to cover up our natural power?
So now my path takes me deeper into the spirit realms, into connection with others in those realms, as we move towards a worldwide web of connected love, peace, and healing.
This morning I journeyed to the upper realms to meet my teacher and healer. We met at the crystal sea. A place of deep colours and hues, brightness and glistening light. A deep cleansing. A soul healing. An opening that cannot be closed. A message to work with the fire of summer and deepen my intent towards healing, knowing that all I do reverberates through connection. A message to practice speaking my truth, to come out from the shadows.
Then a drop into the lower realms to talk to my guardian spirits, and invite the herd in for a general healing. Then a walk back with the herd, grounding deeply as we come home.
And a red dragonfly came to visit and connect for just a moment. A confirmation of the messages given.
Dragonflies are reminders that we are light and we can reflect light in powerful ways if we choose to do so." – Robyn Nola
