August weight loss continued in the right direction. My average weight was 201.8lbs, down 0.8lbs from the month before.
Slow and steady.
Highest weight was 205.6lbs. Lowest weight was 197.6lbs.
I continue to see a link between not getting enough sleep or drinking enough water. Fortunately, I can course correct when I notice it.
And I've been trying to get to sleep earlier.
I even pulled myself away from the TV a few times last month, so that I didn't watch too late into the night.
I ate much more pasta and breads in August. More than usual. So, weight loss would have been more if I cut down those types of carbs.
Of course, my monthly splurge also affected the weight loss for the first week. But, it's always worth it.
For September, the plan is to stick with what's working. Getting enough sleep. Drinking lots of water. And watching what I eat.
It's been a while since I've done an extended fast. For 24 hours or longer. I might try to fit in one or two of those.
And I still haven't managed to do any weight bearing exercises. I find it so difficult to motivate myself to do it.
I'm going to try to do some squats and push-ups. Start small.
We'll see how that goes.
