Fisherground Campsite in Eskdale is set in a peaceful valley surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Lake District. Recognised as one of the '50 World Best Campsites' by The Independent, it ranks in the top 18 overall and in the top 4 for 'Children's Enjoyment'. Fisherground is one of the few campsites in the Lake District where guests can enjoy the timeless pleasure of an open fire, making it a perfect spot for a traditional camping experience.

The campsite offers modern, well-maintained facilities to ensure a comfortable stay. The recently refurbished toilet and shower block provides spacious, clean amenities, including hand dryers, hair dryers, and coin-operated showers. For those cooking and cleaning up after meals, there are plenty of deep sinks available for washing-up.

For added convenience, Fisherground Campsite has a fully equipped laundry room with a washing machine and large tumble dryer operated by tokens, along with two additional dryers that operate on 50p coins. A drying room is also available, ideal for drying outdoor wear and boots after a long day exploring the surrounding area. To keep food and supplies fresh, the campsite also provides two large freezers.
