Yesterday I decided not to go to Dunster: it seemed frivolous to drive there when there was so much to do at home. That won't stop me from going next week, probably!
I fixed a drawer that kept falling off its "glides" for years. The whole unit was well made and good condition, but evidently the wood had shrunk. 🤷🏼♀️ Then the drawer above and below would catch on the affected one, causing an issue.
It had been easier to ignore before I hurt my left arm, but then it was harder to finesse three out of four drawers when they all pulled out at once.
Though difficult to describe how I repaired the offender, it seems that now I have a unit of drawers that operates as it should. yay! 😀👍
I puttered the day away. Though I had the TV on, I managed to make two trips to the swap shed and the thrift shop donation box, bringing nothing home. When I wasn't resting, steeling my courage or reading about downsizing … I was sorting and y'know, downsizing.
This work is its own reward. I guess the same could be said of laundry, but decluttering seems more profound. 🤏
In late afternoon, Gary got home from many hours up at the equine campsite where the Horse Club Poker Ride was held.

I was up early this Sunday. I showered and soaked in the hot tub until the sun came up.
I'm not sure what to expect of the day. There is a yard sale to attend: I'll be 💪 strong! Other than that "event" which could be more visiting than shopping, I have a zillion small projects to choose from.
Hope your day is restful or productive, whatever you need it to be.
Love, Ann
