Two years making an impact in the humanitarian sectorHappy second birthday to the Humanitarian Impact Institute ...The Humanitarian Impact Institute is two years old on 21 September 2024! I rarely celebrate organizational birthdays, but for the Dublin-based Humanitarian Impact Institute (HII) I’ll make an exception. For a young organization, it’s making a definite impact in the evaluation sphere. Staff from around the world work remotely, and are growing in numbers and in diversity of consultancies, primarily evaluations of humanitarian projects, from emergency responses to psychosocial support, and peace initiatives. In two years, HII has worked with almost 50 clients and interviewed more than 30,000 participants, in 20 countries including Afghanistan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Central African Republic (CAR), Colombia, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, and Ukraine. Happy birthday HII! You're currently a free subscriber to The Stories in You and Me . For the full experience, upgrade your subscription. |
