It's very simple really. Find things you are genuinely afraid of. Do them, change and grow. Ditch the need for endless productivity, the relentless treadmill of trying to demonstrate progress to yourself and others by always trying to do more and be more. Grow outwards instead of upwards, become more rounded, more content and more use to those around you. So, other than fear, what stops us?

Well the answer is, it's mostly fear, but we use stuff to keep us blind to fear. Like logic, learning, thinking, reading books and listening to podcasts. Like we need a plan and a strategy, in order to be ready first. When often, we just need to do the bloody thing or at least start taking steps to doing the thing.

So what am I saying this week? I am saying we only change through experience, through doing. As an author in one of the many 100s of books I've read says, 'we cannot think ourselves into new ways of living, we must live our way into new ways of thinking'.

Pick something. Do it. Tell me about it.

P.s. there will be warmer, kinder things in this newsletter but for now I'm teaching you how to get into the ice bath (just get in) before I let us climb into the sauna.
