What are you world class at?
Cross Fit for the MindThe Newsletter that Changes the Minds of High Performers |

We've spoken about the things that no longer serve you and how we might out-grow them. Now let's talk about what you are world class at! What me?! World class?! Yes, you, yes, world class. Everyone has the ability to do one thing better than most other people do it (let's say better than 80% of other people). The trouble with you being a higher performer is you can do a lot of things better than 50% of other people. This keeps you stuck in mediocrity because you lack patience with others and try to do it all yourself. What's more is, you're afraid not to be seen to be doing it all (re-read the first 7 newsletters on fear). Meanwhile, the one thing that you do better than 80% of people remains under developed. The one thing I do better than most other people I know is look at the big picture. I can see how all the small pictures feed into the big picture and which of the small pictures are most important to the big picture, meaning I don't sweat the details. This means I can distil years of learning and tonnes of books into a 300-word weekly newsletter that has impact. I'm not boring you with details, I'm hitting you over the head with the big picture. This is also why I can create a vision for a team and action it quickly. What are you world class at? More importantly what do you need to stop doing? Enjoying the newsletter and want a friend to sign up and answer the questions/prompts with you? You can send them this link to sign up.
