If you embark on a journey of growth and change. There will be 3 categories of people in your life.
1. New people drawn in by the change in your energy and ways of life 2. Old people who loved you as you were and given a little bit of time to adjust, will love you the way you are now 3. Old people who can only love the old version of you
You don't need to be a personal development expert to know that the problems will mostly arise in category 3.
A friend of mine once said to me, we all have ceilings, but not everyone will want to break through theirs. He was right.
Some people will be exactly as you left them 10, 20, 30, 40, 50-years ago.
This can be a source of great distress. You want your old mates, family members etc. with whom you share all that history and nostalgia to come with you and it hurts you when they don't.
You will return to these people in the hope of a change in your relationship with them several times before you begin to properly grieve and let go of the way things were.
Who have you been hoping will come with you, when in reality you need to let them go? Enjoying the newsletter and want a friend to sign up and answer the questions/prompts with you? You can send them this link to sign up.
