Trying to figure out WTF is going on No angry rants, damning denunciations, or cries of despair today, dear readers. I'm sorry if this disappoints you. But it is long past time for me to once again thank all those who support my efforts by sharing articles, commenting on posts, giving a thumbs-up, subscribing, or donating. All of this is deeply appreciated. By which I mean that it all makes me feel guilty for not doing more. There are costs involved in maintaining a blogsite, of course. But in my case, these are not onerous. The odd donation helps. But what benefits me most is the encouragement. I know a lot of you will understand when I say that here are many occasions when it takes some considerable effort to rouse myself enough to write anything. Giving in to despair at the situation we are in is always tempting. It is on such days that I most appreciate a bit of feedback from readers. Especially, but not exclusively, when that feedback is positive. Again, many thanks. I have plans to do more. But then, I always have plans for this and that. Some of these plans even come to fruition. Most do not. It is difficult to find time for everything. And I've lately been forced to admit that I simply cannot do as much work in a day as I used to. I shall naturally continue to push the #ScottishUDI plan and the Manifesto for Independence Petition. That and the Salvo/Liberation UN initiative are the only projects worth putting resources into at the moment. I'd like to see a voter registration drive. But we'll have to generate a bit of anger before that will produce results. We should be thinking about this. I have long intended starting a podcast of some kind and I am now well into preparations for a Sunday forenoon phone-in show on Facebook and other platforms. All going well, I'll be doing a test broadcast this Sunday (13 July) at 11:00. All may not go well as my pal Ian has invited me to join him for a beer 'n' blether session this afternoon (Friday 11 July). The bastard! In addition to the online phone-in show I intend next week to start doing a series of short video notes on Substack explaining various aspects of #ScottishUDI. I'm telling you this now not as a form of advertising, but so that I am committed to doing the work and can't make excuses. That's all!
