Paris has been optimistic in 2025. After several years of global uncertainty, the City of Light has renewed energy as tourists make their return by the millions.

By the end of this year, 37.4 million visitors are expected to explore the Grand Paris region. It’s a sign that Paris is edging back to the “normal” numbers before the pandemic.

The love affair between American tourists and Paris has officially been rekindled. Between October and December 2025, Paris is expecting 190,735 visitors from the U.S., which is more than from Canada or Spain. Whether they’re coming for late-autumn strolls, holiday festive lights, or a long-awaited reunion with the Louvre, American tourists are set to reclaim their spot as Paris’s top international tourists.

Inside the Paris city limits, visitors will have their pick of 91,154 hotel rooms, spread across 1,757 establishments. From tiny boutique hotels to grand Haussmannian apartment stays, Paris continues to offer accommodation for every taste and every travel story.

Paris can be overwhelming, especially for new visitors. That’s why 31 information kiosks are positioned throughout the city, ready to guide tourists who may be lost, curious, or simply finding their next pastry shop. These kiosks are the unsung heroes of stress-free sightseeing.

Paris isn’t just welcoming the world; it’s doing so responsibly. There are 245 tourist accommodations that now carry the Clef Verte (Green Key) label, meaning that they actively manage energy, water, and waste responsibly, as well as undertaking more responsible purchasing. Visitors who want to support eco-conscious travel will find plenty of options that align with their values.

In a city known for fashion, food, and flair, culture remains the star. In 2025, 51 million visitors are expected at the cultural sites of Paris. The Louvre leads the way with 8.8 million, followed closely by the Eiffel Tower (6.7 million) and the Musée d’Orsay (3.9 million).

According to the Office of Tourism, 2025 is shaping up to be a welcoming year for the city. With millions arriving, cultural sites thriving, and green hospitality on the rise, Paris is ready to resume its position between history and reinvention, just as it has always been.
