Ida dumped rain on us from early in the morning and continuing now, predicted to stop sometime tonight, so it was not a wonderful day for dog walks. Potty breaks got done, but no walks. With streets flooding, trees and power lines coming down in various areas, we stayed inside today. Which means Bucky got very bored, and a bored Bucky howls...loudly. So, we did many short sessions of his PT stretches, and then a sort of rapid-fire practice of his training exercises. He's actually learned a great deal in a short time. Not pictured here is the "watch me" that he is beginning to get, and he has learned "wait" on leaving his crate or getting his dinner. He is also just starting on "stand," which you'll see here. Here's a short video of some of the things he's learned, and you'll hear one of our cats and also Gracie complaining along the way. Ten or fifteen minutes of these sessions do a pretty good job of tiring him, both the leg and the brain.

Little by little this pup is getting ready to be a super dog in his forever home! He's going to have a great head start on his training.
