Happy thanksgiving. As always I am late for the celebration, but oh well nothing stops me to write down these two most important recipes for all fall flavors you need to create . In this blog , I would like to discuss my version of Pumpkin spice mix and pumpkin puree .

Without further a do lets get started .

Pumpkin Puree :

Things you will need ,

  1. Pumpkin : 500 gms
  2. Olive oil : 2 tsp

How i made it

  • halve the pumpkin
  • apply oil on the inner side after cleaning out the seeds
  • preheat you oven at 200 c
  • bake the pumpkin with oiled side down for 40-45 mins
  • let it cool down
  • remove the skin and blend into a puree
  • store in an air tight jar

Pumpkin spice mix :

things you will needs,

  1. Cinnamon
  2. Ginger (dried powder )
  3. Nutmeg
  4. Clove
  5. Allspice

How i made it,

Toast all the whole spices separately. The ratio of all the spices should be 3 : 3 : 2:1: 1 . ground them finely and mix and keep in an airtight jar.
