Morag and The Land Of Tir Na Nog - Fantasy/ Mythology
So tell us what is it about?
Morag is a very curious little fairy who lives in Tir Na Nog. She is filled with curiosity and longs to go to the Mortal World. The trees in Tir Na Nog encourage her to go to the entrance of Tir Na Nog which is forbidden by her Father and Mother who are the King and Queen..Morag does not listen and she is swept away in to the Mortal world and there she meet a Fox named Fancy and a Rat named Ralph and their adventures begin.
What inspired you to write your book?
As a Child growing up in Ireland , my mother told stories of my Grandmother and her encounters with the wee folk . This sparked my imagination and every Sunday we would go looking for fairies. It was a magical Childhood and now I am so inspired to write my own stories and to keep childhood magical and innocent.
