The kittens are getting bigger, as they should. And their personalities are beginning to be clearer, at least in some cases.

MG is living up to her name, and I'm calling her not a sports car, but a sports cat. The second the foster room door opens she is GONE!!! Zero to 30 mph in 2 seconds, and she's out exploring whatever she can find. She's also a sweet cuddlebug, and has the best purr. She's quite happy to sit on my shoulder, give me little kisses, and purr in my ear.

Mustang's eye is no better, and it isn't going to get better. It is just so damaged that, in consultation with our vet, we have decided to just remove it. He can't see out of it anyway. He'll feel better, and it won't need to monitored like a ticking time bomb. The eye is so damaged that the vet can't see through it at all, and we have no idea how much damage there is behind the eye ball or how much pain it may be causing. So at the end of March, he will be neutered, and the eye will be removed. He'll be so much happier in the long run, and I'm thinking I should sneak him into this household I know with a couple one-eyed cats already...hehe. I won't, of course, but I'm tempted, right Kate??

And Mercury continues to be a cutie pie, and a little more aloof than the other two, but super adorable. She, and the others, have not been fans of all the meds I've had to give them, and don't understand the "for your ow good" thing. I'm nearly done with meds for them, thankfully. Maybe Mercury will warm up a bit more soon. She's certainly a playing machine, and very athletic.

And Mercedes, momma cat, looks to be in heat. She is rolling and rubbing on everything, and howling a bit, and I can't wait until she is spayed next week!! She still hasn't gained a lot of weight, but she's discovered toys and playing big time which is so fun. The kittens don't have a chance when I get out a wand toy - Mercedes is all over it. She was so scared of all the toys when she arrived, and I love seeing her get to be the kitten/young cat that she missed out on earlier.

That's the story for now, We keep on keeping on.
