Hello, bookworms!

Happy Saturday, I wish you all a great weekend. Today, I am meeting in real life with some online friends, and I am pretty excited; sadly, one of us can't be there, since she is sick, and we are going to miss her a lot, but I am planning on visiting her in Belgium where she lives over the summer to make up for it. Anyways, we are here to talk about books and not about my life, and what better way to do it than answering a book tag? As usual, this is made by Juls — who gave me translation rights — who also created the amazing banner (click here for their blog). I still have't read any comics with him, but I am really curious to finally meet the amazing Dick Grayson, which everyone seems to love.

But without further ado, let's get started and answer some questions.

🎟 John and Mary, the "Flying Graysons" — a couple oyou'd want as parents
Nick and Charlie. I debated for a long time, because I had too many options (every bookish couple I've ever loved, more or less), but I couldn't pass up on an opportunity to have Nick Nelson as a father. I believe both Nick and Charlie would make amazing parents, taking care of my needs, supporting me and never juding me when I struggle, but I think Nick especially would be amazing to have as a dad to play with. It would be a dream to be their child. Can I please be adopted right now, Alice?

🎟 Haly's Circus — a character that works in a circus
I have been staring at the screen for the past five minutes, trying to come up with an answer to this question and I still am thinking about it. There must be something I have read featuring a circus, I know it must, but I can't think of anything right now, so I am going to cheat a little bit and mention a book I have on my TBR. I am talking about An Unsuitable Heir by K.J. Charles, the third book in the Sins of the City series of companions. If I am not mistaken, one of the two main characters of this one is an acrobat and he works for a circus, carnival of something of that sort. I can't wait to finally read this book with Juls.

🎟 Bruce Wayne, Batman — a character with an adoptive parent
I am not sure what to include when talking about adoptive parents, so I hope my answer is fitting, but I am going to say Percy Jackson, in true me fashion. I am not talking about Gabe Ugliano, he doesn't deserve the title, but technically Paul Blofis is now Percy's adoptive dad, since he is married with Sally, Percy's mom. I don't know if it counts, since Percy's dad is alive — he is a God, I mean — but I don't believe in traditional families anyways, so I am going to choose this and if anyone disagrees… Well, I don't care.

🎟 Robin, the Boy Wonder — a character that brings out the best of other people
This one was a though one, because I couldn't decide and my first two ideas were from the Osemanverse and the Riordanverse, which I have already mentioned. I have finally settled on an answer and decided to go with Eleanor West from the Wayward Children Saga. She doesn't bring out the best of her children, exactly, but she allows them to be the best version of themselves, in any way they see fit, which is close enough, in my opinion.

🎟 Wally West, (Kid) Flash — a character you'd want as a best friend
These are the trickiest questions. They seem so easy, but they are actually extremely difficult, because I have to make a choice, and how can I choose between all my babies? I hope all my other favourite characters forgive me, but I am going to choose Maomao from the Apothecary Diaries, one of the manga series I am currently reading. I think she would be so much fun to be around and she knows so many things! It would be amazing to have her as a best friend, because I am an extremely curious person, and I would love to listen to her talking about her favourite things and about poisons (lmao).

🎟 Nightwing — a character looking for a way to emancipate themself
Well… What the frickity frack is this question? It requires actual thinking on my part, and I am too tired to make my brain function. I am of course joking, but this made me question everything I've ever read. In the end, I've decided to choose Kate Bishop from the Hawkeye comics. I am maybe bending the question a little bit, but we can pretend this is the perfect answer for this and move on to the next one, can't we?

🎟 BlΓΌdhaven — a character living in a dangerous city
Could I pick from a huge variety of fantasy cities? Yes. Am I then going with the easy answer? Of course not. So, I am going to say Audrey Rose Wadsworth from the Stalking Jack the Ripper series, because 1800s London, especially with the Ripper roaming the streets, was definitely not a safe city. The main reason why I am choosing her is because I have recently read Kingdom of the Wicked (a review may or may not be coming your way) and it made me miss the good ol' times when I enjoyed Kerri Maniscalco's books. I am actually debating whether to reread at least book one through three of SJTR, but we shall see.

🎟 Barbara Gordon, Batgirl/Oracle — a couple of characters whose relationships swings between love and friendship
This is my question, because I am going to use it as a way to blab about one of my all times favourite non canon ships: Johnlock, in all its forms. People have tried for years to dissuade me from shipping these two but no one succeeded, so be warned if you want to attempt it. No one can convince me that there's not romantic love between John Watson and Sherlock Holmes (yes, even in the original works, thank you very much) and the billion fanfics that exist out there should be a sign that we Johnlock shippers are right. They are meant to be.

🎟 Siblings, adoptive brothers and sisters — a character in a found family that everyone loves
Okay, my answer for this question will be Noah from the Raven Cycle. If you don't like Noah, I don't trust you and you have no rights, so your opinion doesn't count. That makes Noah a character loved by everyone that matters. I am joking, I am joking (or am I?), but I hardly ever found anyone who dislikes him, so I am going to make it count. I know that unfortunately there are tasteless people out there who don't appreciate the work of art that Noah is, but we are going to ignore their existence for our mental well-being.

🎟 Haley, Bitewing — a character with an adorable dog
I knew this question was coming (duh, I've read the tag before answering) and I was waiting to answer it. If you were wondering why I still hadn't mentioned A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, you can stop wondering: it's because I needed to say Pip for this. I am not going to say anything more because of *spoilers*, but her dog is just adorable.

This is all for today, once again thanks to Juls for coming up with such amazing tags. Next month's will be a special one, keep an eye out. I'll see you soon with a review!
