17 Hallgarth is a dog-friendly Grade II listed holiday cottage located in a lovely part of North Yorkshire, at the edge of Pickering and within easy reach of the North York Moors National Park. Our holiday cottage is comfortably furnished to ensure all guests have an enjoyable stay at our holiday home.

The holiday cottage is well equipped throughout and finished to a high standard with all modern conveniences, while still retaining much of its original charm and character. The holiday cottage has a comfortable lounge with a 32 inch TV with Freeview and a separate DVD player. There is also a Roku streaming device through which you can access your personal subscription channels such as Netflix.

A well equipped fitted kitchen which includes an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge, countertop freezer and a good selection of small appliances and equipment.

Our holiday accommodation can sleep four in two rooms which are over two floors. The double room is a large room that can easily accommodate two infants in travel cots in addition to two adults. The second room is a twin-bedded room.

Outside of our self-catering cottage is a traditional garden that offers lawns and seating on a patio to the rear of the cottage. The garden is fully enclosed and there is a private parking space for one vehicle which is accessible from the rear of the property.

Pickering is a pleasant market town set at the edge of the North York Moors, one of the largest and most beautiful areas of open moorland in England. Pickering is within easy reach of some of the most impressive countryside in this area, a paradise for walkers with areas such as Rosedale, on your doorstep. In addition, Pickering is a short drive away from the coast within easy reach of Whitby and Scarborough or smaller beaches such as Robin Hoods Bay.
