I have been working on pictures of the kittens and they are a tough bunch to photograph. Not because they photograph poorly, but because it is very hard to photograph them when they are climbing all over me. They attach themselves to me the second I enter the foster room. As bottle fed kittens they are some of the most social I have had, and un-attaching them from me and getting far enough away to take photos is a real challenge. But I did get some photos. Here are the results of their first photo shoot. Not fabulous (except for Daisy who is super photogenic!) but they will do for now.

A quick update on Moose. He is a sweet dog at base, but not a great match for our home since he is very reactive to cats, to Bodhi, and to any sound he doesn't recognize, as well as any person he doesn't recognize. I suspect this guy never got much socialization, which is sad. So he will be moving to another situation by next Friday. He will be great as an only animal in a quiet household, and has lots to offer, is a total snugglebug. But continuing to practice so much reactivity here isn't good for him, or for the rest of us! I hope they can find him just the right home....I know it is out there. In the meantime he spends most of his time out on his beloved walks, in my office which is gated, or crated when needed. He will be much happier in a place where he doesn't have to be contained all the time.
That's the update for now. Enjoy your weekend, everyone.
