The Rapture: Ecstasy - attributed to the resurrection.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
These, I presume, will include the one hundred and forty four thousand who are the first fruits to Christ. Good Christians. They will have been resurrected, as he was, throughout the time since his own life some two thousand years ago. Chosen of the twelve tribes of Israel to which we all belong actually. Saint Peter is one. As of course is Saint Paul. Rumours of his bones being found are false. He is alive and well also.
He wrote: 13 I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
There will be many more resurrected on judgement day, and an existing body is not required. as the soul is copied and kept safe on computer files under God's throne. They await, impatiently, their white gowns and the rapture. They call 'How long Lord?' Good question. Anyway: For example 'The sea shall give up it's dead'. "Some to everlasting life, and some to ever lasting contempt." It is after all a judgement day.
It is interesting that because God can travel back and forth through time as the scriptures teach us, even if one could lose one's soul in extreme conditions, he can go back a little and take it from before death. You might lose a little of the end of your life, but nothing you'd complain about. A few seconds, minutes or days at most. I wish you all well on judgement day. I just wish we had a compulsory single Christian Church to secure everyone's soul. 'Though we've been there ten thousand years', because the souls will still be copied to continue life through accidents or forgetful miscreant misdeeds. "I'd have it that everyone should be saved," God said.
