I am very lucky to have a few different parks and gardens local to me that I can regularly go and visit. This weekend we took a walk over to Langton's garden, got a coffee and went for a walk.
Langton's is beautiful, there is a lovely man made pond there which you get a wide array of wildlife on, there are fish species which reside within the pond and red eared terrapins which you can see basking in the spring sunshine.

There are many different ducks and birds with some of the common ones being mallards, coots and moorhens as well as Canada geese and swans.
As it is now spring there are a few ducky families on there. On our walk we were lucky enough to see a family with three ducklings as well as Canada geese with four goslings.

The reason we had actually gone over to the duck park is to see if the swans had hatched any of their eggs as they have been sitting on the for quite a number of weeks now, but they have not hatched yet. Hopefully within the next few weeks we will start to see them emerge.
Another favourite was the squirrels, they are so confident and always demand food, it is very funny to watch them as they chase each other around the park and up and down trees though.

Now I have finished with Uni I am hoping to start going to check up on the spring babies and see how fast they grow.
I will keep you updated!
I hope you manage to get out on some cool adventures!
