Walnut Cottage offers charming self-catering on the edge of Burnham Market, set on a wonderful arable farm. Nestled near Kings Lynn in a gorgeous countryside setting, we are ideal for a peaceful holiday in Norfolk.
Our lovely cottage is perfect for a relaxing rural retreat in the country. There is a cosy sitting room with comfortable leather sofas on either side of a large beamed fireplace housing an electric-style wood burner for quick and easy use. This room overlooks the horse paddocks and has a TV and DVD player.
There is an oak-style fitted kitchen with all mod cons. Excellent facilities include a washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, ceramic electric cooker/oven, dishwasher and microwave. Savour some tasty homemade meals in the dining area which seats 6. There is a downstairs bath, shower and WC.
The main bedroom has a pine double bed with fitted cupboards, overlooking the pasture. The en suite has a shower and WC. Bedroom 2 has a pine double bed, dressing table and fitted cupboard. Bedroom 3 is a single bed with a pine chest of drawers and a bedside cabinet.
There is a large enclosed garden with off-road parking for 2 cars and a boat (approx. one-quarter of an acre). You can relax in a paved patio area which during the summer months has an outside table, chairs, sun lounges and Webber BBQ.
All night storage heating, electricity, gas, linen, and house towels are provided in the price. (We do not provide beach towels).
Within easy distance of some beautiful beaches and bird watching areas. You can play a round of golf in Hunstanton or Brancaster or enjoy walking on the scenic coastal path at Peddars Ways. Visit the majestic houses of Sandringham House and Holkham Hall or visit the wonderful Snettisham RSPB Reserve at Snettisham.
